On the afternoon of March 7, 2017, Chen Jiwei, the district mayor, led the heads of the planning, land, tourism, investment promotion and other departments, as well as the party and government leaders of Jinqiao and Datangping townships, to the company base to conduct research on the construction of the Green Source Water Investment Oil Tea Industry Demonstration Park project. Mr. Huang from Provincial Water Investment Ecological Group participated in the research activity, accompanied by Chairman Du from Green Source Company.
During the research, Mayor Chen and his team conducted on-site inspections of the oil tea planting land, processing and research land, and ecological tourism land required for the project, and carefully inquired about the progress, difficulties, and problems of the project. At the subsequent symposium, Chairman Du Renhuan reported on the basic situation of the cooperation project. The Jiangxi Lvyuan Water Investment Oil Tea Industry Demonstration Park project is a collaboration between Lvyuan Company and Provincial Water Investment Group to enhance the oil tea industrialization project based on the Lvyuan Oil Tea Industry Technology Demonstration Park. The project aims to promote the industrialization of oil tea and build an oil tea industry demonstration park that integrates high-yield oil tea cultivation, oil tea production and processing research and development, and oil tea ecological tourism. It strives to create a benchmark and model for oil tea industrialization in the province. The total investment of the project is one billion yuan, and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2019. After consulting with relevant departments and townships, Mayor Chen first welcomed the new investment from the Provincial Water Investment Group and fully affirmed Green Source Company's long-term commitment to the oil tea industry. He pointed out that in the next few years, oil tea will be promoted as a key green industry and targeted poverty alleviation project in our district. After joining the Provincial Water Investment Group, the development of this industry will be accelerated. He also requested relevant departments and townships to conduct preliminary research, carefully plan and make scientific decisions, so that the project can ultimately achieve the goal of benefiting the enterprise and society.
